Two missing after work boat accident
The Mexican work boat 'Pemex 365' sank in the process of unmooring the 'Sea Vine' at the Pajaritos Oil Terminalin the Gulf of Mexico in the morning of July 17, 2020. The tanker, being loaded with crude oil, was departing, bound for Port Arthur. Strong currents created by two assisting tugs propellers ushed th eboat towards the pier, where it allided with the pier and sank. Of the nine crew members on board, seven were rescued, two more went missing. The tanker left Pajaritos with an ETA at Port Arthur as of July 19, 7.30 p.m.
