Engine room fire
In the morning of June 2, 2019, just before 6 a.m. a fire broke out in the engine room of the "Perlen" while the vessel was at a quay in Kragerø. There were not people on board. The fire department first had to cool down the ferry before they could enter. A little after 9 a.m. the fire was extinguished. It was not known when the ferry would be put into operation again.
