The reefer 'Atlantic Lady' was in collision with the 'Pechora' in the Barents Sea, which contacted its starboard side with the stern on Nov 21, 2020, at at 08.30 a.m. The trawler was manoeuvring alongside the reefer for transshipment operations in the Pomorskiy Strait in position 68 31 29 N, 050 12 41 E. No injuries nor pollution reported. Both vessels remained seaworthy, and there were no operational restrictions. The Murmansk Transport Prosecutor's Office was conducting verification measures.

Trawler disabled off Fugløya

Thu Mar 14 09:49:12 CET 2019 Timsen

The "Pechora", 2552 gt, suffered propulsion loss NE of Fugløya on March 11, 2019, and requested towing assistance. The Norwegian lifeboat "Gjert Wilhelmsen" (MMSI: 258005500) left from its station Sørvær and took the trawler in tow towards more sheltered waters where the NSSR-lifeboat "Oscar Tybring" (MMSI: 257231500) from Skjervøy took over. The Norwegian Coastguard vessel "Fram" was monitoring the operation. The lifeboat pulled the disabled vessel to the port of Tromsø where it was safely berthed at 6.30 a.m. It left the port again on March 14 around 4 p.m. and headed to the fishing grounds in the Norwegian Sea.
