Deadly accident in Baltimore

A crew member of the 'Paderewski' was deadly injured in an accident during heavy lift cargo operations on Dec 20, 2020, at the port of Baltimore. He was assisting in pontoon relocation on the ship’s deck, when he got caught between a lifted pontoon and the ship’s structure. The ship had arrived at Baltimore on Dec 19, coming from plaaquiemines Parish Port. It reamined stationary as of Dec 21.

Master accused of unauthorized anchoring.

The 'PAderewski' was accused of unauthorized anchoring by the Vietnamese Coast Guard on Aug 31, 2020. The ship left Map Ta Phut, Thailand, on Aug 24, bound for Dung Quat, Vietnam. She arrived at Vietnamese waters on Aug 27 and anchored north of Dung Quat. On Aug 30 she was spotted by the Coastuard and subsequently boarded. The officers filed an administrative violation case, and the ship moved to Dung Quat the same day and moored on the port’s anchorage in pos. 15° 26.49' N 108° 45.23' E.
