NYK THESEUS will soon be deployed on NYK WCNA - Middle East service

Thu Jun 13 15:02:19 CEST 2013 linervision

Effective mid-July, NYK and Hanjin are to slow down the rotation of their joint ‘SGX’/'PSG’ service, a loop which trades between the West Coast of North America, the Far East, Southeast Asia and the Middle East Gulf (#1801). One more port call and one extra ship will be added, as round trip times increase from 11 to 12 weeks. NYK currently deploys seven vessels on the service, whereas Hanjin has four ships on the loop. The Japanese carrier is to add a further ship, the 6,660 teu NYK THESEUS, which makes her entry on 15 July. In terms of size the newcomer is on line with the remaining fleet on this loop, which consists of mid-sized over-panamax ships of 6,000+ teu. full story: http://linervision.wordpress.com/2013/06/12/nyk-and-hanjin-modify-wcna-middle-east-service%e2%80%8f/
