NileDutch names latest 3,510-TEU newbuilding for West Africa-Asia loop

Mon Feb 02 18:06:01 CET 2015 arnekiel

A naming ceremony has been held for the second of four 3,510-TEU NileDutch newbuildings, the NileDutch Dordrecht, at PSA Singapore Terminals. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Dutch embassy in Singapore, port authorities and the carrier's customers. NileDutch Africa Line is expanding its fleet with four custom-designed container vessels to offer an improved service to key markets in West Africa from the Far East. These vessels will be registered in the Netherlands and fly the Dutch flag. The dimensions and deck equipment of the four new ships are tailored to serve ports in West Africa better. The other two vessels will be delivered later this year.
