Faulty filters off the Isle of Wight

The 'Navigator Oberon', being en route from Flushing to Houston with 20 crew members on board, suffered a faulty filter on the main engine in position 50 12 07 N, 001 35 34 W, about 28 miles south of the Needles, Isle of Wight, on Jan 12, 2020, at 4.30 a.m. A change of the faulty filter on the main engine was needed. The vessel headed towards an anchorage for filter changes at 07.30 a.m. aand dropped anchor in position 50 18 07 N, 002 04 03 W, about 15 miles south of St Alban's Head to complete the repair works. On Jan 13 at 4.20 a.m. it resumed its voyage with an ETA as of Jan 27.
