Crew member died in accident

On Oct 27, 2022, at 7.35 a.m. the Mimer'notified the Polish SAR about an injured person on board about 20 nautical miles northwest of Kołobrzeg. The SAR lifeboat 'Szkwal' and the SAR helicopeter 'W3 Warm 505' were sent to assist. The helicppter took off at 7.50 a.m. SAR lifeguards took over the resuscitation from the crew, and at 8:15 the crew wmember was medevaced by the Duma I helicopter. At 8.51 a.m. the helicppter landed at the helipad of the Hospital Emergency Department in Gryfice. The victim was immediately handed over to the medical services. Engine trouble off Skallevold

The "Mimer" suffered engine trouble and had to drop anchor outside Skallevold on Aug 16, 2019, at 8.10 p.m. The vessel was surveying the sea bottom outside Vallø in connection with the clean-up of the old refinery area. The rescue vessel "Eivind Eckbo" was tasked to momitor the ship, waiting for the larger SAR ship "Horn Rescue" stationed in Skjærhalden to tow the "Mimer" to port. At 9.15 p.m. the "Mimer" was taken in tow by the "Horn Rescue" to Tønsberg. The ship sailed from the port again on Sep 3, bound for Frederikshavn, where it arrived on Sep 4.
