The "Maya S" was detained again on Sep 3 in Kocaeli, Turkiye with 41 deficiencies, six of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Alarms - Steering gear alarm Malfunctioning 2) Water/Weathertight - Ventilators, air pipes and casings Cracked 3) Pollution Prevention - Crew training and familiarization Lack of familiarity 4) Fire safety - Ready availability of fire fighting equipment Inoperative 5) Fire safety - Fire detection and alarm system Not as required 6) Fire safety - Fire prevention structural integrity Not as required The vessel was released again Sep 8 and left the port en route to the Istanbul Anchorage on Sep 9, where it moored in pos. N 40° 58' N 028° 54' E, before proceeding to Braila with an ETA as of Sep 13.
