Vessel underway again in spite of breached ballast tank

The "Pegasus"" was allowed to resume its voyage on Sep 18 in spite of a ballast water having been breached and the hull dented at port side in the allision with the Holtenau lock of the Kiel Canal which was damaged too. The ship continued from Kiel to Rendsburg at 11 a.m. and further to Brunsbüttel at 11.40 p.m. and was now being expected in Rotterdam on Sep 20 at 8.30 a.m.

Enroute from St. Petersburg to Rotterdam, the "Pegasus" allided with a gate of the locks of the Kiel Canal in Kiel-Holtenau on Sep 17, 2014, around 5 p.m. The ship suffered scratches at port side and berthed at the Bominflot Bunker Station after having passed the lock around 6 p.m. for investigations.
