Ferry suffered issue with Voith Control System
On May 8, the 'Lochinvar', serving on the route Lochaline-Fishnish, suffered a technical issue with the aft unit. As a consequence,, the scheduled sailings from Lochaline at 07:45 a.m. and from Fishnish at 08:10 a.m. have been cancelled. Engineers were investigating the issue with the Voith Control System and found out that it required additional repairs, As a consequence, the service has been cancelled for the remainder of the day. The 'Clansman' operated the following amended timetable via Craignure to assist with traffic: Departure Oban - 4:20 p.m. Departure Craignure - 5:35 p.m. Departure Colonsay - 7:50 p.m.
Ferry suffered ramp issue
The 'Lochinvar', serving on the route Lochaline - Fishnish 14, suffered a technical issue affecting the vessel's ramp, on the morning of Feb 14. As a consequence, the scheduled departure from Lochaline at 07:00 a.m. and from Fishnish at 07:25 a.m. had to be cancelled. After the issue has been successfully resolved, the 07:45 a.m. sailing from Lochaline could be operated as scheduled.
Vehicle broke down on car deck
On Feb 6, the service on the route Lochaline-Fishnish by the 'Lochinvar' was delayed due to a broken down vehicle on the car deck. As a consequence, the 5:45 p.m. departure from Lochalinewas delaye, which was expected to have a knock on effect to the scheduled 6:05 p.m. sailing from the port of Fishnish.
