Boxship in collision with tanker

The "Leo Perdana" was in collision with the tanker "Navigator Aries" in on June 29, 2015, at 1 a.m. off Karang Jamuang Island, about 20 nm north of Surabaya. The tanker suffered a portside breach of meters length, and a fire, which was extinguished at 4.15 p.m. The tanker was en route from Dermaga Gospier to Pelabuhan Kalbut, while the boxship was en route to Surabaya. Four tugs were deployed, and the tanker was anchored in position 06 59 S 112 42 E, abount 10 nm north of Gresik. The "Leo Perdana" reached Surabaya under own power and was docked.
