Collision in Marmara Sea

The "Long Cheer", enroute from Rouen to Istanbul, was in collision with the bulkcarrier "Ince Kastamonu" on Aug 5, 2017, at 2.30 a.m. in the Marmara Sea about 15 miles south of the Bosphorus entrance. The Turkish bulk carrier was en route from Sudan to Romania. Both vessels dropped anchor after the collision. The "Ince Kastamonu" raised anchor again in the afternoon of Aug 8, destined for Altinova and berthed at Sefine Shipyard for repairs.
