Vessel suffered fuel pump trouble

The "Kuper" with a crew of eight on board, suffered problems with the fuel pump in position 50 40 14.4 N, 000 37 31.8 E, on June 24, 2019, at 9.30 p.m. After repairs were carried out by the crew the vessel continued its voyage at 10.15 p.m. It had sailed from Riga and berthed in Shoreham on June 25 at 6.45 p.m.

Search for missing crew member scaled down

The search in the Irish Sea for a crew member missing from the "Fehn Sirius" has been scaled down on Mar 6, 2012. The Irish Coast Guard helicopter, the Arklow Lifeboat, an RAF helicopter and the lifeboats from Portaferry and Newcastle have now been stood down. The "Fehn Sirius" continued to backtrack in the Irish Sea and was being assisted in the search by the Irish Naval Vessel "LE Ciara". The man was reported missing at 08:45 a.m. but was last seen at 9 p.m. GMT on Mar 5 when the vessel was east of Strangford Lough. The ship was sailing from Belfast to Portugal when the crew member went missing.
