Ferry suffered technical trouble

In the afternoon of Dec 17, 2018, the "Ørsta" had to be withdrawn from the Molde-Sekken route after she encountered technical problems. First the ferry suffered an electrical failure and then restricted manoeverability. Operator Fjord1 was in the process of requiring a passenger boat and a replacement ferry, but the "Ørsta" was able to return in operation after the problems were resolved at 5.30 p.m.

Ferry sidelined due to technical trouble

The "Ørsta" had to be withdrawn from the Molde - Sekken route on July 11, 2018, due to technical problems. Fjord 1 inserted the passenger boat "Nordic Lady" departing at 4.35 p.m. from the fast-ferry dock in Molde and sailing from Sekken around 4.45 p.m. The "Ørsta" was sidelined at the quay in Molde.

Ferry ran aground off Molde

The "Ørsta" ran aground on July 9, 2015, around 1 p.m. off the pier at the ferry docks in Molde. The ship was berthed in Molde for a hull survey by divers. At 3 p.m. ferry operator Fjord1 announced that it inserted high-speed passenger boat with space for 12 people to and from the Sekke which could not carry cars. The first departure from Molde was at 4 p.m.
