Ramp tore breach into hull
The Indonesian ferry "Tunu Pratama Jaya 3888" (IMO-No.: 8984381) was damaged by the lowered bow ramp of the "Liputan XII" in the morning of Feb 8, 2019, in the LCM Port of Ketapang Banyuwangi. The hull was breached, and it was feared that the ship could sink. All passengers and vehicles were safely disembarked and taken to Bali with other ships. The accident happened in stormy weather upon the arrival of the "Liputan XII" from Gilimanuk Port in Bali. Strong winds shifted the ferry, so that she smashed into the neighbouring ship. Both ferries were taken to the south side of the LCM-Pier for repairs. https://news.detik.com/berita-jawa-timur/d-4419694/tabrakan-kapal-di-pelabuhan-banyuwangi-penumpang-dievakuasi
