Allision in Rotterdam

The 'ARA Amsterdam' allided with the tank barge 'Haldis' on Oct 12, 2021, during the unmooring manoeuvers while departing the port of Rotterdam. The incident did not result in injuries or pollution. The Portuguese maritime safety office was working together with its Dutch counterpart to gather evidence to investigate the incident. The ship left the port at noon and arrived in Klaipeda on Oct 15. The tank barge left the port on Oct 13 at 1 p.m., headed to Antwerp, where it arrived at 8 p.m.
