Detention in Szezecin

The "Kaata" was detained on Aug 22, 2025, in Szezecin with 14 deficiencies, five of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Life saving Appliances - Lifeboats Not ready for use 2) Fire safety - Jacketed high pressure lines and oil leakage alarm Inoperative 3) Fire safety - Fire detection and alarm system Inoperative 4) Propulsion and auxiliary machinery - Propulsion main engine Not as required 5) ISM - Ism certificate Not as required The vessel was released again on Aug 26 and left the port en route to Ventspils., where it arrived on Aug 28. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063576908591

Eight stowaways found in Waterford

Eight stowaways were found on board the 'Flex Emden' which berthed at Belview port, Waterford, on Dec 4, 2019, coming ofrom Saint Nazaire. Three of them tried to flee but were seized by the Garda Immigration Bureau. All eight were Albanians.
