Allision in Taichung

The 'Ansac Christine Nancy', while en route to Portland, allided with the south breakwater of Taichung port, Taiwan, after the pilot disembarking, on Nov 6, 2019, at 3.20 a.m. Subsequently, the vessel anchored at the outer anchorage of Taichung port with the port side shell plating of the vessel was damaged and broken. The actual extent of damage was unknown, however, no oil pollution was reported. The corner of the breakwater was badly damaged.
