The "Rødøyløven" after its grounding off Bodø underway from Nordnesøy to Storselsøy in Rødøy on Jan 21, was pulled onto a slip at Sandnessjøen in the foremidday hours of Jan 23. Then it became clear that both hulls as well as the propellers suffered severe damage and will need comprehensive repairs possibly at a yard in Bergen as the ship got stuck with a speed of 23 knots.
