Container ship stranded off Singapore, already in service again

A container ship was left stranded off Pulau Sebarok, Singapore, on Oct. 14. The 80,108dwt Panama-flagged Hyundai Jakarta is en route to Port Klang, Malaysia, from Singapore before stranded in the Jong Fairway near Monggok Sebarok reef, Singapore, in Lat. 01 12N. Long. 103 48E. at 09.02 hours. The Hyundai Corporation-owned vessel was attended by rescue vessels shortly after that. By 15.00 hours yesterday, Hyundai Jakarta has been moved to Raffles Reserve anchorage for inspection. So far, there have been no injuries or pollution reported from the incident. After inspection, the ship has returned to service early morning today. According to AIS, the vessel is en route to Port Klang.
