Tug with leaking barge reached port
On Aug 10, 2024, the barge 'Highline 52', being towed by the 'Hub 19', suffered a leak with ensuing water ingress in Cirebon waters, The barge was slightly tilted while it was on its way from Surat Thani to Cirebon with a cargo of 9500 tons of gypsum, in pos. 06° 42.510′ S 108° 37.202′ E. The PT. Pelindo and the agent PT Dwidaya Agensi were contacted. The QRT (Quick Response Team) of the Cirebon Class II KSOP Office deployed the patrol boat 'KN.P. 357' to carry out a preliminary survey. A part of the cargo was transferred onto the 'TK. Temujin', so that the ship could be docked at the Linggar Jati Pier.
