Allision in Brunsbüttel

The "Bekau", enroute from Hamburg to Klaipeda, allided with a scaffolding of a construction site in the old lock of Brunsbüttel upon entering the Kiel Canal on Feb 1, 2019, at 7.35 p.m. The ship remained inside the lock for investigations. After their completion, it was allowed to resume the voyage at 9.45 p.m. and started the eastbound transit of the waterway. The ship arrived in Klaipeda on Feb 5 at 1.40 p.m. and sailed again on Feb 7 at 10 p.m., next bound to Ayr, UK, with an ETA as of Feb 14.
