The "Da Ping" collided with a Japanese fishing boat in seas off Kaga city in southwestern Japan's Ishikawa Prefecture early OCt 1, 2010. The "Da Ping" was heading toward Tsuruga port while the Japanese fishing boat was dragging a net in fishing when the incident took place.No one was injured in the incident which occurred around 1:30 a. m.local time. The two vessels were able to continue their repsective voyages after the collision and the incident did not lead to an oil leak. There were 18 people on board the "Da Ping".
