Hak caused oil spill

The "Hak" caused an oil spill of 10 metres by 1.5 metre in the port of Berdiansk on Nov 28, 2018, at berth No.1 Following an inspection, the source of the pollution was established to be from the "Hak". The pollution was cleaned up with the assistance of the oil response vessel "Sborshchik-401".

On Feb 10, 2015, the "Haci Arif Kaptan" got out of control in Antikyras at the facilities of the "Aluminium A.E." in Distomou in adverse weather conditions with winds of 7-8 Beaufort, due to a mechanical failure, and crashed into the stern of the "Elpida" (6523224), with the starboard side of the bow which was berthed at the same pier. The Port Authority Antikyras found damage at the port side stern of the "Elpida". Both ships were barred from sailing until their seaworthiness was approved by the classification societies.
