Coaster sank after collision with ferry

On Feb 22, 2018, at 12.45 a.m. the "Hai Kou Jiu Hao" with 972 passengers and 140 vehicles on board collided with the 28-meter long coaster "Xinying F069" off Hainan port, while en route from Hainan island’s Haikou. The coaster which was loaded with steel sank, three crew members were rescued, two more went missing, an SAR operation was under way, in which also the ferry participated before entering the port of Haian. Stormy winds troubled passenger ships

Stormy weather with strong winds pushed the "Hai Kou Jiu Hao" aground in Haikou, Hainan Island, on June 5, 2015, and caused the allision of the passenger ship "Yin Zi Jing" with a beacon.
