Tue Dec 08 09:55:20 CET 2020 Timsen

On Dec 07, 2020 at 5:22 p.m., the CROSS Gris-Nez was notified by the MRCC of Den-Helder that a crew member of the 'Frank Bonefaas' had a medical problem. The ship was 15 nautical miles north-west of Fécamp. The CROSS then initiated a conference call with the Toulouse Maritime Medical Consultation Center (CCMM) and the 'Frank Bonefaas'. A medical evacuation of the man was recommended. The CROSS deployed the lifeboat 'Cap Fagnet' of the SNSM station Fécamp with a team of the SMUR from Le Havre for the medevac. At 6.44 p.m., the SMUR team was on board the fishing vessel to medicalize the sick sailor who was then transferred aboard the 'Cap Fagnet' and arrived at the port of Fécamp at 7:51 p.m. The patient was taken by ambulance to Jacques Monod hospital where he was taken care of at 8:46 p.m.
