Technical failure in Canakkale Strait
The 'Great Arsenal', while en route from Benghazi to Nikolayev, suffered a technical failure during the transit of the Canakkale Strait on March 25, 2020. The vessel headed to the Karanlik liman anchorage beging monitored by the Coastal Safety tug 'Zubeyde Ana', where repairs have been commenced by the crew. The ship remained stationary in pos. 40° 44.53' N 028° 51.32' E as of March 26 before resuming the voyage towards Okyabrsk with an ETA as of March 28, 11.30 a.m..
