Vehicles carrier in repair yard

The "Glovis Corona" left the Kaiser Port in Bremerhaven after repairs and was pulled into the North Port by the tugs "ZP Bison" and "RT Peter" on Feb 7 at 4 p.m. On Feb 17 it entered the Lloyd Yard for repairs.

Unloading of the "Glovis Corona" in the Kaiser Port 2 in Bremerhaven by terminal operator BLG started in the morning of Jan 13. First all intact vehicles and larger units were taken off. Another vessel was ready to take the cargo on board for further transport into the Middle East. The transshipment was expected to last until Jan 14 in the midday hours. Then all damaged cargo, among them trucks, crane trucks and tanks were to be removed from the cargo decks to be able to access and repair the damaged areas of the ship. Damaged vehicles carrier reached Bremerhaven

The "Glovis Corona" started the voyage to Bremerhaven in the foremidday of Dec 31, escorted by the tugs "RT Piooneer“ and "RT Innovation“ of Kotug/Smit and the police boat "WSP 5“, passing the Strom Quay around 1 p.m. and entering the Kaiser Lock in Bremerhaven at 2 p.m. with additional assistance by the tugs "RT Rob“ and "RT Peter“ on its way to the roro terminal.
