Bulker breached in bottom touch
The "Glorious Future" had a bottom touch 1.5 miles off Kanmon Bridge, Kanmon, in the Simonoseki Strait at 0430 a.m. on Feb 21, 2015. The bulker was en route to Fukuyama in the Hiroshima Prefecture with 20009 tons of bulk cargo on board. One of the bottom tanks was damaged and flooded. The vessel was anchored east of Simonoseki in Inner Japan Sea.
