Ferry suffered rudder trouble

The "Fröja", one of Styrsöbolaget's ferries, got problems on the voyage between Brännö and Saltholmen on July 13, 2019, and started circulating around in the water before trying to get into Styrsö Tången to wait for assistance. The "Fröja" operates the line between Saltholmen and Brännö and had a technical problem with the steering system. After the captain had managed to get the ship in port the passengers were dropped off. The ferry was replaced by the "Vipan", and the traffic should went on with a slight delay. Ferry grounded off Styrsöbolaget Bratten

The "Fröja" ran aground off Styrsöbolaget Bratten on July 8 at 4 p.m. The passengers were evacuated in two stages. First, they were transferred to the passenger boat "Vesta". The roughly 60 passengers were taken on Styrsöbolaget Bratten, where they were taken aboard the fast ferry "Valö" which took them on to Brännö Husvik.
