Ferry allided with dock
In the afternoon of Nov 13, 2015, around 3 p.m. the "Friesland", 3583 gt (IMO: 8801058), on its departure from Harlingen to Terschelling allided with the dock. The ferry was caught by a strong squall during the turning manoever. Both the ship and the dock were damaged, but during an inspection no leak was found, so the ferry could resume the trip to Vlieland. No one was hurt, but ferry Operator Doeksen offererd the passengers a free drink to recover. The "Hurricane" of Noordgat assisted the ship berthing in Terchelling.
