Allision in Brunsbüttel
The "Favourite Diamond" allided with the jetty 3 at the Brunsbüttel locks of the Kiel Canal on Oct 6, 2013, at 1.45 p.m. The ship was secured in position by an emergency anchoring manoever and taken in tow by the tugs "Parat" and "Hans" about 2.35 p.m. and berthed in the Elbe Port for investigations. The ship was enroute Sczceczin - Cork.
