Former royal yacht no longer for sale

Wed May 05 11:16:30 CEST 2021 Timsen

The 'Foners' which was formerly used by the Spanish King Juan Carlos and his family during their holidays on Mallorca as "Fortuna", is no longer put up for sale by the Baleària company which owns the yacht since 2018. Instead she is to be refurbished to be more attractive for potential buyers. A new propulsion is to be installed instead of the costly Rolly Royce engine. Initially the ship was offered for 6,6 million Euro, the sum dropped to 3,9 million in 2020. It is berthed in the port of Dénia. King Felipe VI had shown no interest in the yacht.
