Rudder trouble on Wester Scheldt
On Jan 19, 2025, at around 10.30 a.m. the 'Flandria 20' suffered problems with the rudder on the Wester Scheldt, after departing from Ghent, at Terneuzen and called for assistance. Almost immediately the tug 'Multratug 13' left the ferry port and headed towards the ship, and also the 'Multratug 22' came out of the eastern lock a little later.
