Water leak at engine cover

On the afternoon of June 1, 2025,, the Port Authority of the Argosaronic Gulf was informed by the Captain of the 'FD Athina', that after the safe arrival at the port of Piraeus en route from the ports of Agistri and Aegina, a water leak had occurred in the starboard main engine cover. The Argosaronic Gulf Port Watch of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus initially banned the departure of the hydrpfoil. Upon the presentation of a certificate of class maintenance from the monitoring classification society, it was allowed to continue its scheduled sailings.

Ferry suffered engine failure

On Nov 6, 2024, at noon, the Port Authority of Argosaronicos was informed by the Master of the 'Flying Dolphin Athina' about a failure of the port side main engine, before the hydrofoil docked in the port of Piraeus. The ship berthed safely in the port and disembarked nine passengers, while it then had scheduled routes to the ports of Aegina and Agistrio with two passengers on board. The Port of Argosaronicos banned the ship from sailing until the repair of the damage and the presentation of a certificate of c,ass maintenance by the monitoring classification society. The passengers were forwarded to their destination by the care of the company.

Engine failure in Piraeus

On the afternoon of Sep 8, the Port Authority of Argosaronicos was informed by the Master of the 'Flying Dolphin Athina' about a failure of the starboard side main engine in the port of Piraeus. The ship had a scheduled itinerary for the ports of Aegina and Agistrio with 44 passengers on board. The Port of Argosaronicos banned the ship from sailing until the repair of the damage and the presentation of a certificate of class maintenance by themonitoring classification society. The passengers were forwarded to their destination by the care of the owner company.
