Tanker disabled and adrift

The 'Energy River' was disabled and adrift in the morning of June 12, 2023, in the Indian Ocean about 950 nautical miles west of the Australian coast. The tanker requested the medevac of a crew member. The tanker was deployed in bunkering operations for fishing vessels in the southern Indian Ocean and had sailed from Tanjung Pelepas on May 19.

Collision off Ulsan

Sat Jul 08 11:58:05 CEST 2017 Timsen

The "Buena Reina" was in collision with the product tanker "Keun Sul 3" on Ulsan's outer anchorage in the night of July 7, 2017. Ths accident happened while proceeding in opposite directions. The "Keun Sul 3" was approaching Ulsan, the "Buena Reina" was leaving port. The Korean tanker struck the LPG tanker at it's portside stern and caused damages. The "Keunul 3" suffered damage at the foreship. The shiop berthed in Ulsan in the morning of July 8, while the "Buena Reinar" dropped anchor near the collision site. One Filipino crew member of the LPG tanker was injured and received medical treatment. Negligence of both ships’ watches was said to have been the cause of the accident.
