Ferry SHOYO MARU collides with freighter off Kure
Ferry SHOYO MARU on Aug 1 morning collided with unnamed anchored freighter shortly after leaving terminal at Kure port, Hiroshima, Japan. The ferry with 62 people on board was bound for Matsuyama. The ship returned to terminal, only three passengers were slightly injured. Collision was caused by power failure. Unnamed freighter didn’t suffer any damages.
