Tanker rescued distressed migrants

The 'Mina Deniz' has rescued 10 African migrants whose boats broke down off Malaga on Feb 11, 2022. The migrants were handed over to Spanish Coast Guard teams, who arrived hours later. The inflatable boat carrying a group of immigrants malfunctioned in the Mediterranean Sea. The migrants informed the Spanish Coast Guard about the situation who informed the tanker which was passing through the region, and closest to the scene. After the instructions, the captain of the ship, which was en route from the port of Huelva to La Nouvelle diverted to the position an took on board 10 African migrants. They were supplied with water, food and drink and hosted on the ship for about six hours. Their boat, which was tied to the side of the ship, was also delivered to the Spanish Coast Guard teams who came to the scene.
