Allision in Bremerhaven
On June 21, 2025, at 7.15 p.m. the 'Daisy Leader', en route from Emden, allided with the quay wall of the North Lock in Bremerhaven as it attempted to enter. No one was injured, but the vessel's hull was damaged. For reasons still unknown, the vessel allided sideways with the quay wall, and the port side was damaged. The North Lock was also damaged. The vessel was banned from sailing until repairs were carried out and a certificate of seaworthiness presented by the monitoing classification society. The captain received a warning notice and a fine. The Water Police continued their investigations into the cause of the accident. The ship remained stationary in port as of June 23.
