Main engine damage off Pendinnis Lighthouse
The "Cape Manila" suffered a leak in the main engine cooling pipe about 10.5 nautical miles from Pendinnis Lighthouse, Isles of Scilly, in pos. 49 55 N 06 02 W, on March 1, 2018. The ship was en route from Portbury, U.K, to Brest. It continued the voyage the same day and berthed in the commercial port of Brest at 7 p.m.
