Detention in Kocaeli

On April 24, 2025, the ' Crystalwater' was detained in Kocaeli with 16 deficiencies, three of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Certificate & Doc - Endorsement by flagstate Expired 2) Fire safety - Fire doors/openings in fire resisting division Not as required 3) Fire safety - Remote Means of control (Machinery spaces) Not as required The vessel was released again on April 26 and proceeded to the Ereglisi Anchorage.

Tanker sailing again 20 months after accident

The former "Hordafor V" sailed from Gdynia on Dec 25, 2018, 20 months after the floating dock in which she was under maintenance capsized at the Nauta Repair Shipyard. The ship meanwhile was renamed "Crystalwater" and was headed to Tallinn, ETA Dec 28, 11 a.m.

Floating dock with tanker capsized and sank

On Apr 27, 2017, the "Hordafor V" capsized at the Nauta Repair Shipyard in Gdynia after the floating dock No. 1 inside which the ship was under repair rolled over at 1:30 p.m. No one was injured, and immediate action was taken to evacuate the crew and secure the site. The Port Fire Brigade has been involved in rescue operations and laid out oil booms. A team of divers inspected the site.
