LNG carrier Coral Medusa completes repairs under gas at Damen Shiprepair Harlingen

Mon Sep 05 08:37:54 CEST 2016 arnekiel

The gas carrier Coral Medusa, owned and operated by the Anthony Veder Group, has completed her intermediate survey at Damen Shiprepair Harlingen. The intermediate survey was scheduled and executed while the ship was under gas vapours from her last cargo. Damen Shiprepair & Conversion was able to offer three locations, Flushing, Schiedam and Harlingen, that are certified to repair gas tankers which are not gas-free. Harlingen had immediate availability so the Coral Medusa docked on 19 July.

Anthony Veder takes four gas tankers from L.G.R.

Thu Sep 24 08:33:59 CEST 2015 arnekiel

Anthony Veder has purchased all four gas tankers from L.G.R. di Navigazione, further rejuvenating its fleet. The 4,000 cu m semi pressurized/fully refrigerated gas carriers Castel Dell’ Ovo (2007) and Castello Di Gradara (2009) have already been commercially managed by Anthony Veder since early 2015 and they will be delivered to Anthony Veder in the coming months. They will be renamed Coral Medusa and Coral Monactis respectively. The 8,000 cu m ethylene carriers Castel Nuovo (2009) and Castel Sant’ Elmo (2009) are expected to be delivered to Anthony Veder shortly after that, after leaving the Lauritzen Kosan Pool. They will be renamed Coral Pearl and Coral Patula. http://splash247.com/anthony-veder-takes-four-gas-tankers-from-l-g-r/
