CMA CGM Box Ship is the Largest Ship ever to Call Brazilian Port

CMA CGM reinforces its position in Brazil, introducing the largest vessel in terms of TEU capacity to ever call Brazil Containership CMA CGM Tigris, one of the newest vessels in the CMA CGM fleet, is due to call the Port of Santos on February, 6, making the French shipping company the first carrier to introduce a vessel of such a capacity in Brazil, the CMA CGM Group announced today. The 10,622 TEU CMA CGM Tigris will be added to the fixed-day and weekly SEAS2 service, calling 13 ports to connect Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay to China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa – all within 90 days. CMA CGM Group is pleased to announce the CMA CGM TIGRIS was delivered on December 22nd, 2014 in China. The CMA CGM LITANI (10,622 TEUs) is the third of a series of 28 vessels from 9,400 TEUs to 10,900 TEUs, vessels which will be delivered from now to the third quarter of 2016.
