Salings cancelled due to repairs of bow visor
Due to essential repairs required on the bow visor of the 'Clansman', the scheduled departures from Oban on May 29 at 4:20 p.m., due to arrive in Colonsay at :35 p.m., and from Colonsay at 6:50 p.m., due to arrive in Oban at 9:05 p.m., had to be cancelled by the operator CalMac.
Sailings cancelled due to bow visor repair
The 'Clansman', serving on the route Oban-Coll-Tiree, needed essential repairs on the bow visor on May 28. As a consequence, an amended timetable was operate:d. The scheduled departure from Oban to Colonsay at 4:20 p.m., departing frmo there at 6:50 p.m. and arriving at Oban at 9:05 p.m., has been cancelled. All impacted customers have been contacted.
Clansman had issues with the tannoy system
There was an issue with the tannoy system on board the 'Clansman', operting on the route Oban-Colonsay, on May 23, that required further investigations. There was a delay to the service , and the ferries 'Lord of the Isles' and 'Isle of Mull' were operating amended sailing times: http://calm.ac/10 Ths service was later cancelled. Spare parts have been sourced and are expected to arrive at the vessel on the morning of May 24. Options for a passenger charter have been explored but it has not been possible to secure. As of May 24, repairs have been carried out to the tannoy system, and the vessel operated the following amended timetable: Depart Oban - 11:00 a.m. Depart Coll - 1:55 p.m. Depart Tiree - 3:20 p.m. Depart Coll - 4:30 p.m.
