Grounding off Tarabya

The "Cerencan" ran aground due to a steering fault enroute from Azov to Ambarli with a cargo of 3047 tons peas and a crew of 11 on board off Tarabya on Aug 18, 2014, at 4:42 a.m. The rescue service dispatched the tug "Kurtarma 3" to assist which refloated the vessel at 5:50 a.m. It was moored at a safe anchorage at Büyükdere for surveys.
