On Nov 5, 2018, the "Baltica Hav", enroute from Elsfleth to Oldenburg, drifted perpendicular to the fairway on the Hunte. The ship got stuck directly off the Department of Maritime and Logistics Studies in Elsfleth. The ship was able to continue soon after and berthed in Oldenburg at 2.50 p.m.

Freighter diverted after storm damaged quay in Ramsgate

Thu Mar 21 11:13:04 CET 2013 Timsen

The "Union Pluto" being underway from Dordrecht where it had sailed on Mar 11, to Ramsgate, was obliged to seek shelter off Margate. When Ramsgate re-opened it was found that the berth that the "Union Pluto" was due to occupy had been damaged by the waves. The decision was taken to divert the cargo of specialist aggregate to Whitstable and the "Union Pluto" arrived at the east quay in the early hours of Mar 13. She sailed light for Calais on Mar 14 afternoon's tide to load another shipment of stone for Whitstable which she delivered early on Mar 15. She was then due to load her third successive cargo for the harbour over the weekend, this time at the Isle of Grain terminal on the Medway where she was scheduled to take on board a consignment originating from Glensanda Quarry in Scotland.
