In the foremidday of Mar 4, 2011, the "Miltiadis Junior III", allided with the pier head of the south ridge of the Brunsbuettel locks when entering the lock coming from Bremerahven. The foreship of the vessel suffered a gash due to the impact. After the investigations were completed, the ship at 1.20 p.m. was allowed to transit to Kiel where temporary repairs wree carried out. On Mar 5 at 4.15 these were completed so far that the ship was able to proceed to its destination Gdynia where it berthed on Mar 6 at 2.30 p.m.
