Crew member missing off Ushant

A crew member of the 'Arctic Lady', en route from Ferrol to Skagen with 35 crew members on board, has disappeared on June 22, 2025. The Filipino national was employed as a chief. The preferred hypothesis: he fell overboard in the Ushant. waters The CROSS Corsen was alerted at 8:24 a.m. when the crew realized the man was missing. He was last seen at around midnight and did not report for duty at 8:00 a.m. Significant resources were being deployed to find him, an H160 helicopter from the Lanvéoc base and a Falcon 50 aircraft from Lann-Bihoué flew to the area. The search was suspended at 11:00 p.m. No message from the missing person was found on board. The Arctic Lady continued on its way and is expected to arrive in Skagen on June 26. .

One crew member arrested after fight on board

The police and Coastguard were called to a dispute aboard the "Arctic Lady" which was heading out from Hammerfest on May 23, at 8.30 p.m. Two Crew members had started to fight, and the police needed the assistance of the Coastguard to sort it out. A man in his late 30s was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning. The victim, a man in his early 40s, had broken his nose and was rushed to hospital for examination. The LNG-tanker briefly returned to Hammerfest around 10 p.m. before resuming its trip to Barcelona.
