Barge allided with bunker station
On Sep 22, 2017, around 4.30 Uhr a.m. the "Aqua Ventus", 743 ts (EU-No.: 02315241), allided with the floating bunker station of Dekker & Stam B.V. on the Beneden-Merwede at Hardinxveld. The patrol boat "RWS 71“ of Rijkswaterstaat and the police were on scene to investigate the significant damage. The hull of the barge was dented, but it had no water ingress. Also the bunker staton, its gangway and the moorings were damaged, the interior of the station's ship scattered on the floor. The "Aqua Ventus" left Giessendam on Sep 25 towards Tolkamer.
